Love, the summary of our Christianity, whole essence of our living. We were born into this would out of love, we grow up in the love of family, love drives us to meet people of different upbringing and even make friends at various stages in our lives, we choose our vocation out of love for God, be it priesthood or matrimony, and the cycle of love goes on and on.
Love, the same thing that sprung Jesus towards having compassion and feeding five thousand hungry men. He didn’t just preach about us loving, He also showed us how to. And that’s how it should be for us. Our love shouldn’t just be a stagnant four letter words, it should be filled with actions.
Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God (1 John 4:7). Jesus calls us today to embrace the corporal works of mercy. Let our love spring us not only to compassion but to actions.
