Come, Follow Me.

Monday of the 1st Week Of Ordinary Time, 11th January 2016

He saw Simon and Andrew the brother of Simon casting a net in the sea; for they were fishermen. And Jesus said to them, “Follow me and I will make you become fishers of men.” And immediately they left their nets and followed him. And going on a little farther, he saw James the son of Zebedee and John his brother, who were in their boat mending the nets. And immediately he called them; and they left their boat with the hired servants, and followed him.
(Mark 1:16-20).

Immediately He called and immediately they followed.
Today we enter the Ordinary time and Jesus our Lord calls us to follow Him. We see Simon, Andrew, James and John leaving their activities and even their family to follow Christ, the Greatest Cause. They found a better purpose worth living for; discipleship of Christ.
So how willing are you to answer Jesus call? Christ invites us today. Let’s leave those broken nets of burden we try to mend and follow Christ today.
